This mixed fermentation farmhouse beer was aged in one of our oak foudres for six months, before further ageing on damsons, blackberries and blackcurrants. These fruits line the hedgerows around the brewery at this time of year, reflecting the seasonality of this beer. Balanced with the acidity of our house yeast culture, this is a delightful beer to have with friends.

Can at home picked up from HOTM. A mostly clear deep plum purple coloured pour with a lasting rocky candy floss pink head. Aroma is nice fresh earthy red berries, blackberry, blackcurrent, hedgerow fruit, dusty funk, some yogurty funk. Flavour is composed of super sharp, tangy berries, bitter damson, lemon juice, super bitter, green leaves, underripe blackberries, Palate is dusty, super sharp, tangy, pinch of acid, highish carbonation. Enjoyable, little too acidic.

Can at home in Hackney - picked up from BS online. Pours a vibrant, clear purple with a modest, creamy pink topping. Lightly sweet, quite dry, with bright and tart berry character, decent acidity, low funk, a little woody accent, slight seedy bitterness. Light bodied with massaging carbonation. Clean, tart and dry to finish, more zippy berry character. Great stuff overall.
