Dark black yet bright, rich and round in taste, a smooth mouthfeel with a dry ashy finish. Subtle bitterness with roasty notes, nutty and chocolatey aromas, hints of coffee and burnt sugar.

Can from Havnens Vin og Tobakhus. Pours dark cola brown with large offwhite head. Aroma is roasted malt, iron, and mint. Taste is medium to very sweet, medium bitter, and faint acidic. Body is dry and chalky with light carbonation. Finish is long and balanced sweet and bitter with notes of roasted malt, rye, biscuits, white sugar, coffee and hints of campfire smoke. Not very Christmasy, but it's a nice porter.

0.33l can. Aroma of roasted malt, cappuccino, chocolate, caramel and nuts. Pours pitch black color with thick soapy light brown head and average sparkling appearance. Taste starts with rich roasted malt and bitter chocolate, following is ashy, nutty and dried fruity, mouthfeel is smooth, while finish is dry and bitter.
