Bottle shared with TO on board Baluba in Kirkwall 18.05.18. Translucent golden. Small white head. Decent, but moderate, aroma and taste of American hops, citrus, grass and succade. God drinkability.

Bottle 500ml. @ [ chriso & Boudicca's pre- GBBF Shindig 2017 ] - Chris and Ruth's House, London. [ As Swannay Orkney Session ].Clear medium orange yellow colour with a average, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, sweet malt, light grain. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration, pale malt, sweet malt, straw. Not much going on here ! Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20170806] 6-3-6-3-11

Bottle shared at Chriso's Pre-GBBF Shindig. 06/08/2017. Many thanks! A clear yellow coloured pour with a loose white head. Aroma is rusty penny, dirty grains, straw low hop. Flavour is composed of dry thin grains, mineral, straw. Palate is mineral, grainy, low carbonation.

50 cL bottle. Pours cloudy yellow. Small white head. Aroma is tobacco and slight herbal. Bitter, slight herbal. Bitter and slight herbal finish.

500ml bottle. Crystal clear, yellow-ish golden colour with small to average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Biscuity and minimally strawy, pale malty aroma, citrusy and minimally grassy, hoppy overtones, hints of lemon, lemon biscuit. Taste is minimally sweet pale malty, minimally strawy and slightly biscuity, grassy, bitter and minimally citrusy hoppy overtones, hints of lemon, a mineral touch. Light bodied but fairly hoppy.

Bottle from Appellation Wines. Appearance - golden with a nice fluffy head. Nose - distinctive nettle and lemon note that means you know itβs Swannay. Taste - citrus, herbs. Palate - light bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - a light beer with stunning balance.

4oz sample at Cloisters pours a clear gold with some creamy, white head. Nose of lemon, yeast, Parmesan rind, malt, a little honey. Flavor is sweet with honey, mild cheese, lemon. Finishes creamy. Tasty.
