Brewed with a hefty portion of rye, this IPA was intensely hopped on the hot side with Comet (FR) and Mandarina Bavaria (DE), and then dry-hopped with Chinook (FR), Comet (FR) and Hallertau Blanc (DE) during the whole 8 months of its barrel-aging. This Stock hoppy ale is therefore tart and funky, insanely fruity with a great hop kick, and a rustic and bitter ending.

Bottle. Color: Hazy golden, fast disappearing white head. Aroma: Funky, hoppy, lime and citrus fruit. Taste: Mix of Bretty funk (leather, horse stable), floral hop, fruity notes of lime, tangerine, stone fruit and Spicy rye malt. Moderate tart and bitter, light sweetness. Still a bit young. Nice stocking ale, has a lot of keeping potentials I presume. Curious to try the second bottle in some years. Note to myself: Try to keep this second bottle closed as long as possible...
