OK, got this bottle of kolsch from wegmans. Well, I thought I was getting a light pale lager er sumthin but I taste that its actually a little kolshy. Yes, a little kolshy, that needs to be taught some old country kolsch manners. After the initial shock to the senses, it starts to settle down into a somewhat kolcsh continuum. In the end it almost reached friendly civilized kolch staus, but didn't quite gitther.

Bottle 12fl.oz. @ The Shnoodlepip, London. [ As Empire Skinny Atlas Light ].Clear medium yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, wheat, pale malt, light floral. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration, sweet malt, wheat, pale malt, bread - floral - paper. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20160811] 5-3-5-3-9

Bottle. Pours faintly cloudy pale yellow with small foamy white head, bread aroma, high carbonation, mildly bitter malty taste, bit of yeasty flavor, thin body, abrupt finish. Good one.

Bottle from Tops. Starts nice with a hazy golden pour, tight creamy head, lots of carbonation. Crisp grainy aroma, taste goes a bit south, musty, cheese. A bit too funky for the style. Not bad, but should be a bit more crisp.

Crowler from N4. Pours clear gold, small head, minimal lace. Bread and honey on the aroma, a bit of grass. Earth and spice notes. Drinks fairly sweet. Light body. Decent stuff.

Fast klare goldene Farbe, große weiße schaumkrone. Geruch unangenehm hopfig, getreidig malzig. Geschmack süß malzig, Getreide pappig, muffig hopfig.

The Sampler, Brooklyn tap: pours deeps golden with a white head. Aroma is bready and kind of grassy. Taste is lightly sweet and kind of bready. Easy to drink. Light bit not too light.
