Can from Barrels & Botanicals, Turriff. It pours lightly hazy deep - russet brown with a yellowy - khaki head. The aroma is bitter - sweet, toasted brown bread, dried fruits, cherry, dried cranberry, berry, fruit loaf, malt loaf and a splash of cherry cola. The taste is dry, bitter - sweet, toasty, brown bread, woody, plenty of dried fruits and berry, cranberry, raspberry, slightly jammy, cherry cola, brown bread and light nuttiness. Lighter end of medium body and moderate, velvety carbonation. Pretty flavourful, especially for the abv. Decent gear.

Can from Cork & Cask (2023), and a birthday gift from Tom (2024). Amber body with a light haze and a beige head. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of caramel and toffee. Flavour of tea and brown sugar. Thin to medium body with a slick texture. Light fizz. Rich and tangy, without the malt/sweetness quality of my favourite heavies. Decent.

Creamy tan head left a good cover on a chestnut coloured still body. Malt, raisin & spiced toffee aroma. Medium bodied, smooth with a lightly carbonated cloying back. Toffee, malt, caramel, raisin & jam tastes with a bitter tangy finish. Decent - Like it
