Dare to confront the shadows with Spectre. A dry Irish stout inspired by the eerie beauty of the Brocken Spectre. This dark, enigmatic brew captures the essence of mystery. Pouring midnight black with a silky tan head that shimmers like a ghostly halo.

The aroma reveals roasted barley, espresso, and whispers of dark chocolate, drawing you into its spectral depths. On the palate, Spectre delivers a perfectly balanced dance of roasted bitterness and a smooth, dry finish, evoking the fleeting elegance of mist and shadow.

Whether you're chasing the light or embracing the darkness, Spectre invites you to savour the moment when the ordinary becomes extraordinary. Let it haunt your senses.

440ml can from KWM Wines: BB 13th April 2025. Poured into my lovely old 'Abbot Ale' pint glass tankard at home on 21st September 2024, mini-tasting-session with myself while Margie is out with friends. Black body, well very dark brown, on top a huge billowing lightly tanned foaming head. Obviously malty and fairly dry, mouth wise, dark chocolate and coffee flavours but both pretty subtle, mild hop bitterness in the finish. It's OK for a 4.1% Stout, certainly not rich, slick or oily, but pleasant enough.
