A malty brew guilty of greatness. This chestnut brown ale is brewed with five different malts for a rich toffee background, and is perfectly balanced by our favourite Herefordshire hops. It would be a crime not to try it!

Friday 16th February 2024, Prince of Wales, Shrewsbury; Cask Beer Festival. Hand-pulled half-pint. Old gold in colour, off-white crust, having read the tasting notes I was expecting a caramalt type sweetness and a malt forward beer, this wasn't the case. Only a slight maltiness, even if they've used five different types.
