500ml bottle; BBE Dec 2018, at home on 21st Aug 2018. Poured slowly into an Abbot Ale glass tankard. Light amber/golden body, smooth white blanket of foam on top. Slight farmyard ester or two within the aroma which is more hop floral than malty or grainy. The taste is a decent blend with the malts just about overpowering the hops, so we have a semi-sweet brew with a mild bitterness, again with a strange farm like rustic feel (as found in the nose). Tried to like it, but the dirty farmyard thoughts kept coming through and I couldn't bring myself to score it highly.
