Draft at the Mercado dos Lavradores, in Funchal. Pours black, with a big, bubbly, foamy, beige head. Awful coffee, soy, pumpernickel, and bitter almond. Sweet and acrid, with a rough bitterness. Light, slick and acidic. Genuinely terrible.

Draught half-pint at the Funchal Christmas Market on 4th December 2023, shared with Auntie Sue. Lightly tanned head on a dark brown body. Malty front with not much going on aroma or flavour wise, it's a pretty basic Dry Stout, not unpleasant, just a bit 'bland' and uninteresting.

21.07.2017, tap @ Hole in One Pub:
Nice fizzy-creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is kind of dry sour-ish mineraly, weeds, minerals, soap, grass, hay, bark, chlorine, paper. Taste is dry and harsh sour-ish mineraly, weeds, minerals, paper, chlorine, sour grass, yeast, soap, sawdust. Medium bitterness, harsh soapy mouthfeel. It’s chlorine beers @ the worst craphole there is - Henrik l & Vinstove, all over again....
