Can (11/20/23) from the taproom. Virtually opaque dark brown, thin head with fair retention, no lacing. Aroma is strong vanilla and Tootsie Roll, as described in previous review. Taste is strong vanilla, some roasted malt in the middle that wasn't in aroma and then late Tootsie Roll again. Smooth, mellow texture, soft carbonation, slight alcohol warmth, vanilla finish. On clearance at taproom so decided to take a flyer. Based on previous review, I don't think it lost anything. Lactose contributes slightly to palate but dominates aroma/flavor.

Canned 10/26/23, 11/22/23. Dark, clear. Small, beige head to ring quickly. Vanilla and Tootsie rolls. Very light touch of caramel and roast. Not offensive amount of lactose but it's certainly there. Dry, a bit thin, lots of lactose and heavy vanilla. The vanilla is well-done though very heavy. Just some chocolate behind it.
