Bottle from Livonia Liquor. Pours a clearish reddish pink with no head. Notes of cherry and vanilla on the nose with some cherry stone dryness on the palate. As it warms the vanilla does come out more. Fairly tart with a nice cherry note throughout. Tart finish that leans dry.

Bottle. Pours a clear plum with a pink hue and a white head that dissipates quickly to the edges. Aroma has earthy tart strawberry and oak with a bit of vanilla underlying. Flavor has a nice tart strawberry with growing earthy oak and just a bit of vanilla cutting through.

375mL bottle, undated, drunk 11/17/23. Lightly hazy, bright red, Gatorade fruit punch-like. No head. Tart cherry and plentiful vanilla with heavy mineral and a general mellowness from proper rest in wood. Lots of lactic with low Brett and no acetic. Sparse malts. Biscuit, cracker and such from malt, decent maltiness though very high attenuation. Cherries are bright and tart with light Brett and plentiful lactic character. Honestly, I think there's a reason you never see breweries like Hill, 3F, Cantillon use vanilla (can think of Cantillon framboise vanilla, that's about it). It's just such a powerful, though deceptively soft, flavor that is dominating as it is here. I can't get much character here other than the most acidic notes from cherry and lactic acid. Can't get a sense of malt or yeast. Pleasant, though.
