Downright® Pilsner is a deep golden color and medium bodied, with a soft round malt profile and crisp and spicy hop character on the finish. This lager is brewed in the traditional Pilsner style, using authentic Pilsner malt and noble Saaz hops. The beer carbonates completely naturally as it lagers in our fermentation tanks for six weeks.
A unique twist to Downright is the dry hop addition of Saaz hops. This additional infusion of hops gives the beer an extra refreshing bite on the finish.

In der Flughafen Lounge in Washington, D.C. Flasche. Aroma: Hopfen, etwas Malz . Geschmack: mittlere süße, malzig, mittlere Bitterkeit. Okay.

Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours a clear gold with a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges and laces slightly. Aroma has straw and light bread up front with a slight grass bite underlying. Flavor has a bit more grass up front but is mainly hay with just a hint of leaves.

New Region: number: 98 (not far to 100). Many thanks for this beer to Jacek Wigier (wineofdreams@gmail.com). Pianka pora jak na czeski pils przystalo, zapachowo rowniez podobnie, lekka mglistosc, ale i tak ogolnie jasna barwa, W smaku goryczka, zbozowosc i bardzo umiarkowana slodowosc. W czeskich pilsach slodowosc ciut moze wieksza, ale zatecki chmiel oddal tu niemal wszystko. Spory plus za idealnie opisana etykiete, to zadkie w przypadku piw z US, nawet IBU podano i to w piwie dolnofermentacyjnym. Lekko bylem zaskoczony dokladnoscia opisu.

Bottled at CBC. Bright, floral Saaz hops, seems to be dry hopped. Rich malt flavor is tasty but not thick of heavy. Crisp, hoppy finish. nice.

Bottle 12fl.oz. @ The Shnoodlepip, London. [ As Port City Downright Pilsner ].Clear medium yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, sweet malt, moderate hoppy, grass, fruity hops. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration, grass, pale malt, sweet malt, fruity hops - floral. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. Draft at Tanner Smith's, NYC. Pale gold, white head. Aroma and taste of pils malt, hay, hints of fruit. Thirst-quenching. Not bad.
