Can drunk 10/6/23 at the brewery. Dark. Large, medium tan head, moderate retention. Rich cocoa, vanilla, lots of acidity. Not very Belgian. Moderate lactose dulls everything. Soft, sweet, chewy to syrupy. Lactose adds a syrupy sweetness that is unnecessary. Roast, chocolate and coffee notes with moderate acidity and too much lactose.

16 ounce can at brewery. I guess it’s back in production! Jett black pour. Creamy tan head. Roasted malt aroma has a hint of yeasty funk. Flavor is sweet roasted malt, cocoa and espresso. Sticky mouthfeel. Tasty.
