Single Farm is our blended Missouri Farmhouse Pale Ale in which we explore the complexities and beautiful expressions of hops and our native mixed culture. For this fourth expression, we chose to express the Riwaka hop from Freestyle Farms in New Zealand by dry-hopping this light, billowy beer and then bottle conditioning to a lively level of carbonation.

Shared draught, 9/27/23. Light chill haze. Pale blonde-golden. Small, white head, quickly to ring. Juicy white wine, rich pear, overripe guava and papaya. Good acidity on the end with an undercurrent of sweet malts adding honey-like notes. Clean, bright and highly aromatic with Brett and very little lactic character; certainly nothing to overacidify. Juicy, tart, refreshing, and an explosion of white wine, pear, papaya. Excellent bitterness, Brett acidity and light lactic character. Gentle oakiness. Crisp, clean, bright, not over hopped. Excellent maltiness and proper attenuation.

On tap at the SP Cellar. Pours a hazy gold with medium white head that lasts. The aroma is citrus, grass, apple, oak. Medium body, juicy, citrus, oak, tart finish, very nice.
