It’s been our long-held standard that we will only bring forth new hop-forward beers (or any beer for that matter) with a truly distinctive voice within our lineup. With Meza, that ethos is on full display as we employed new (to us) techniques and ingredients to create an IPA that undoubtedly stands apart. It’s full of punchy and peachy high notes with just the right amount of ripe fruit undertones laying the base.

Can (5/1/24) pour shared by Steve. Opaque milky dark yellow with nice sparkle, thin head with fair retention and nice lacing. Aroma is strong stone fruit and herb. Taste follows aroma but stronger stone fruit than herb, red grape and background cracker. Smooth, creamy, frothy texture with soft carbonation and finish as taste. Strong all around.

Brewery draught, 9/15/23. Heavily hazy, bright brass-golden-maize. Large, fluffy, white head, good retention. Soft sulfur and other various mineral with bright pineapple and maybe even a hint of coconut spice. Seems Strata-like, though there's also got to be some NZ hop(s) in here too on account of the sulfur-mineral. Soft, balancing, white bread and biscuit malts, clean and fruity yeast finish. Bright and with a pop of zesty acidity giving pine, pineapple and lemon impressions. Some white wine, quite juicy though the bitterness remains on the finish. Biscuity malt texture could use just a touch more soft/sweet honey to balance this assertive bitterness and strong pineapple character.
