Introducing Einfluss - a Landbier that draws inspiration from the lagers of Franconia but is made with 100% CT and NH malt including a hearty dose of Triticale, a wheat/rye hybrid grain. Einfluss puts that beautiful grain front and center with the Triticale lending subtle spice and earthy undertones but at 4.8% it remains remarkably drinkable. It’s a beer uniquely suited for the warm days and cool nights ahead.

Bayberry draught, 9/14/23. Clear, amber-infused maize. Small, white head, moderate-to-low retention. Nose is quite bready with lots of this triticale character giving an almost popcorn-like character. Specks of caramel, honey and very low hopping adding only a touch of pepper and floral notes. Clean. Flavor is initially crisply-hopped and quite grainy, growing rather bready and with no lasting hop bitterness. Kind of a crusty/grainy texture that I don't love with too much bread throughout. Needs more soft, sweeter, deeper malt and/or refreshing hop bitterness.
