Fra cask på Pen y Cae Inn, Penycae. Gyldenbrun. Filmskum. Bæraroma. Smaken mørke plommer. Malt i bakgrunnen. Behagelig tørr fruktig ettersmak.

Cask (handpump) @ GBBF 2016, [ Great British Beer Festival 2016 ], London Olympia, Hammersmith Road, London, England W14 8UX. [ As Grey Trees Diggers Gold ].Clear medium yellow colour with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, fruity malt, citrus, fruity hops, peach - pineapple. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average to long duration, pale malt, fruity malt, peach, fruity hops. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20160809] 6-3-7-3-14

Cask handpull at GBBF 2017. Thanks to Seth. Clear gold colour lasting white head. bit perfumed. Decent carbonation. Decent herby hop. Good enough. Good mouthfeel.

Cask @ GBBF 2016. Pours a slightly hazy yellow golden color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty citrus hoppy aroma. Fruity malty citrus hoppy flavor. Has a fruity malty citrus hoppy finish.

Cask at Cherry Reds, Birmingham. Poured a crystal clear straw colour with a frothy white head. The aroma is light hop light citrus. The flavour is moderate to light bitter with a light watery light fruit light hop bitter palate. Light to medium bodied with sort carbonation. Too light all round for me.

On Tap at the Three Horseshoes, Waddington. Golden colour with small white head. Aroma and taste malts tropical fruit. Finish is light bitter.

Sampled @ GBBF day 1. Clear golden color, small white head. Smell and taste malts, a bit sweet, sweetish hops, pineapple, lightly tropical fruits, lightly bitter. Average to decent body and carbonation. Decent.

Cask-conditioned at the Cornubia, Bristol 15/9/2015. Golden in colour with a thin, white, head. Easy drinking pale ale, with some leafy hops, a touch of citrus fruit and creamy malts, before a lingering, bitter, finish. Good.
