[Cask at the Andover Beer Festival 2026.] A hazy amber pour with a rim of white from; sweet grainy taste. Lacklustre.

Cask. Hazy yellowish golden colour with a small white head. Aroma is floral, citrusy, some mild bready notes. Flavour is citrus, some floral and mild earthy and grassy notes. Simplistic, but yet very drinkable golden ale.

Straw and some bitter herbal thing. Odd, like some Jagermeister spilled in here. But just a bit. Golden pour with decent head. Crisp finish. Tap at Tiny Rebel Cardiff.

Cask at CBC, Covent Garden on 19th August 2023. Bright golden amber with shallow off-white foam affording full lacing. Aroma of malts and sweet tropical fruits. Spicy fruitiness in-mouth with caramel malts. A fruity finish, with some fine bitterness in upper rear mouth. Light bodied with a smooth mouthfeel.

Hand-pulled pint at The Pheasant Inn, Wellington Shropshire on 6th Oct 2019, my first beer on a Sunday lunchtime crawl (and the only new rate, I think). Poured a clear golden beer, white foaming blanket on top. Bitter tasting with a citrus bite in both the nose and taste. OK, but nothing to get excited about.

Half-pint, well kept cask ale at Pen-y-Cae Inn. Decent white head blanketing the glass. Clear golden body. Herbal hops on the nose, pale malty notes. Taste of citric hops and mid-sweet malts. Distant fruit bitterness to the ending. Smooth mouth feel. Fair enough. (Glamorgan, Penycae 02.10.2018).
