Le Pils, first brewed for The Owl Farm 10th Anniversary (Brooklyn, NY), is dry hopped using fine aroma hops from the Alsace Lorraine region of France, yielding a beautiful citrusy & floral aroma. Taking its inspiration from the unique world of Alsatian white wines, it undergoes a cool open fermentation using a classic pilsner yeast to produce a crispy, dry, and refreshing finish.

Pour is a cloudy gold with a smallish white head. Aroma is cracker malt and spicy hops. I feel like I've been saying that a lot. Flavor is the same as the aroma. Very dry malt with a spicy hop. Finish has a little blueberry on the tongue.

Reviewed from notes.
Can to becher glass.
Appearance: glossy burnt yellow / almost orange color with a two finger white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: bright citrusy to floral hop notes round out the edges of a clean biscuity malt bill with sweet grains
Flavor: blends the prior noted aromas to a fair sweet to bittersweet arrangement; finishes with the sweet grains, biscuity malts and citrusy hops
Texture: between light and medium bodied; sessionable; pretty smooth along the tongue, some dryness
Overall: nicely done pilsner that seems to be a bit modernized. I would come back to this.

Can at home. Clean gold pour and fluffy white head. Nose is bready and fruity and honey. Tastes of honey, water crackers, pear, white wine. Crisp but rich bodied. Quite tasty

Undated 12oz can drunk 8/24/23. Clear blonde-golden, hint of unfiltered haze. Foamy, white head, sits at cover. Oh yeah that's a beautiful nose. Big pepper, soft paper and dried wood, hint of apple and crisp yeast on the finish. Maybe a touch of soft Alsatian pinot gris. Clean as hell. Lots of biscuity, grainy malt, seemingly good attenuation. Juicy, floral, herbal hops with excellent malt character and pepper and good attenuation. Soft honey, clean, clear, crisp lager yeast with mineral on the finish.

Pours slightly hazed gold into a willi. Bright white head with medium retention crackles and recedes leaving spot lacing. Lemon and bread aromas. Soft and thin with sweet lemon and sourdough front to back. Medium length earthy peel finish.
