This is our homage to the haze before the haze craze. We completely inverted our water profile, added some pleasant bitterness and hopped with the classics: Citra, Simcoe, and Columbus.

Reviewed from notes.
Can to becher glass.
Appearance: dark orange cloudiness with a two and a half fingers of white foamy head which took it's time to dissipate and once it did some light messy lace stuck to the glass.
Aroma: piney to semi-orangey to slightly watermelon-like with a sturdy middle hoppy mixed citrusy vibe; super light malts - practically barely noticeable
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas to a fine semi-sweet to bittersweet quality; finishes piney with a touch of dryness
Texture: medium bodied - maybe a touch under, somewhat sessionable; some smoothness with just enough hop bitterness so far down below that it tells you this is still a beer
Overall: what a wonderful NEIPA very worthy of returning to!

Fresh can from the brewery, drunk 7/14/23. Is this cultural amnesia regarding west coast IPAs and bitterness? That said this has a delicious amount of malt, balanced hop and good body without resin or big pine. Almost some TH watermelon here. Gets really deep and juicy/spicy as it warms.
