Cask (gravity) @ GBBF 2016, [ Great British Beer Festival 2016 ], London Olympia, Hammersmith Road, London, England W14 8UX. [ As Hogshead Etta's Pale Ale ].Clear medium amber orange colour with a small, fizzy and open, virtually none lacing, fully diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, fruity malt, moderate to heavy hoppy, fruity hops, moderate citrus - grapefruit - orange. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, fruity hops, fruity malt, citrus, sweet malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is flat. [20160809] 7-2-7-3-15

Cask at GBBF'16, day one, 09/08/16. Golden orange with a moderate light beige covering. Nose is tangerine, citric peel, straw, orange juice. Taste comprises orange squash, light pine, straw, mandarin, soft bread. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close with mellow hop bitterness. Decent cask pale.

Keg at the brewery tap. Pours clear yellow-gold with a creamy, white head. The nose has grapefruit, rindy tangerine, a little melon and pale bread. Light sweet flavour with piney-grassy bitterness, some plump citrus fruits. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Well balanced finish, more pithy grapefruit, pine. Very good.

Tap at Hogshead. Clear golden appearance with a cream colored head. Somewhat spicy, piney aroma. Soft mouth feel. Light to moderate bitterness. Extremely refreshing. Mostly light fruit and pine. Good.

Cask gravity @ GBBF 2016. Pours a golden color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty grassy grapefruit hoppy aroma. Fruity malty grassy citrus hoppy flavor. Has a fruity malty grapefruit hoppy finish.

Cask at the brewpub. Hazy gld with lace. Nicely hoppy nose, oranges, peaches. Good hop flavor, smooth malts, really tasty and rich. Very nice.

Sampled @ GBBF day 1. Clear orange to light amber color, small white to off-white head. Smell and taste some malts, nicely hoppy, tropical fruit hops, pineapple, piney, moderately bitter. Quite nice.

Cask at GBBF 2016 09/08/2016. A hazed copper amber coloured pour with a loose off white head. Aroma is sweet tangerine, orange, mango. Candied orange. Flavour is composed of sweet candied orange mango, tangerine, peach, peach cobbler. Palate is semi sweet moderate carbonation, ok.
