Pours light mahogany into a tulip. Tan head with medium retention recedes to mottle surface. Sweet pear and honey aromas. Medium bodied with sweet cucumber (?) and melon upfront turning mild berry before tart pear and lactic funk in the dry, medium length finish.

Brewery draught, 3/30/24. Clear honey-amber. Small, white head quickly to ring. Lactic acid and oak with prickly pear on the very end adding fruity, vegetal notes. Sweet and floral fruit up front, with a spicy acidity throughout. Almost red wine-like. Snappy, bright, not too sweet or acidic. Good tartness and all around balance with lingering fruity acidity and flavor and lots of watermelon character.
