CX draught, 3/28/24. Clear, dark amber-mahogany. Medium-sized, tan head shows strong retention. Healthy mix of lactic and acetic acid. Cherry and light hazelnut with a bit of roasted character. Clean, maybe a touch heavy on the dark malt, but not certain just based on the nose. Not overly tannic. Ah, very surprisingly full of soft, moderately sweet base malt that balanced the dark and the acid. No big acetic character in the mouth, thankfully. Chewy caramel, honey, date and cherry with oak on the finish and a hint of toast/roast. Clean, snappy and balanced. 'Nother good one from Lamp's barrel program.
