12oz can, 2020 vintage, drunk 3/25/24. Clear, bright auburn-amber. Medium-sized, beige head showing pretty decent retention for its size and age. Clear. Nose shows the mint quite in the forefront though the spicy and nutty rye is right there with it. Strong, yet not boozey, with big malts that seem well-attenuated. Malty, minty, well-attenuated, good depth and good flavors with some excellent whiskey character. I'm not sure I love the mint, and anything less than the current four years of age on this would probably be way too minty (can't imagine this stuff fresh). But the rye helps, and it's not too heavy on the caramel flavor. Great texture/body/carbonation.

Can. Pours a clear deep copper with an off white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a nice toffee and caramel note with a rye bite, some whiskey and a slight hint of mint. Flavor combines rye and caramel well wit toffee and whiskey notes supporting.
