Imperial Stout aged nearly 30 months in a combination of 8-Year Willett Family Estate Bourbon and 8-Year Willett Bourbon barrels then conditioned on a triple dose of Dominican, Ghanaian, and Guatemalan Cacao Nibs as well as Toasted Organic Hazelnuts, Papua New Guinean Vanilla Beans, Toasted Organic Coconut and Raw Organic Coconut. Expect a veritable adjunct apocalypse balanced by significant barrel expression.

Bottle at Stout Week line share, 2/18/24. Dark, inky, viscous, no head, clear. Nose takes me a minute to place, but it's pretty much just straight hazelnut. While dominant, it is authentic and lovely. A bit of vanilla and bourbon breaks through to spice things up, but it's earthy, lightly floral, rich and nutty. In the mouth it's quite sweet, not as much of a mess as one would expect given the amount of shit in here. Soft, sweet, rich, sticky malts with spicy bourbon and milk chocolate tones. No booze. Lingering sticky, sweet notes of caramel, nougat, fudge and chocolate.
