Astonishingly soft, with explosive hop aromatics, Leap Beer is a heavily-oated Double IPA, double dry-hopped with a bountiful amount of Galaxy and Simcoe. When poured, we're greeted with a warm, light straw color with a dense, enticing haze. Coupled with a bouquet of mouth-watering aromas of mango nectar, pineapple juice, and papaya, the first sip is highly anticipated. The saturated tropical character carries through on the palate, complemented by a focused bitterness and creamy mouthfeel. Enjoy Leap Beer while it's here, as it won't come around too often.

Hoppy and fruity, soft. Citrus and ripe tropical fruit, a bit drier towards the end. Nice.

Canton draught, 2/3/24. Heavily hazy, pale brass-bronze-golden. Small, off-white head, sits at one centimeter. A bit sweaty, with spicy mosaic, no scallion and light tropical character falling short of sulfury mineral. It's a nice combo, for the most part, with the sweaty tropical minerality. Biscuit and white bread malts balance gently. No booze or resin. Soft, juicy, hella spicy. The spiciness of both hops, one floral/lemongrassy, the other more dank and green combine to great effect. There's ample malt, light biscuity texture, soft honey and appropriate bitterness from hops with good attenuation. Lovely. Been a while since I've lived a DIPA from these guys.

Pours murky yellow into a tulip. White head with little retention recedes to nothing. Dusty pineapple aromas. Spritz with hot honey, pear and pineapple front to back. Warming sweet dusty melon finish.

Pours a very hazy, soft yellow, with minimal head. Aroma has loads of tropical fruit and citrus notes. Flavor is a touch chalky, with citrus and tropical fruit. Lightly sweet, with a slightly bitter finish. Soft mouthfeel.
