Short stubby bottle with things sitting on the bottom inside. Pours like many pale ipa. Very bitter. Intense bitter chewing on green grapefruit rinds soaked with turpentine and pine tar sap. Over the top, yes it tastes like a much higher abv beer than it is. Thicker flavorful brew that coats yer mouth and is so intriguingly bitter. In the end it does have a little of that low alky veggie feel to it. Yea, on style for an IPA, what else can be said? Nasty nestling nellie.

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a murky orange color with a large foamy yellow-white head that left excellent lacing. The aroma was bitter and citric with a light phenol note. The flavor was bitter with notes of lemon, pine and yeast. Medium length finish. Medium body. Meh

12 ounce bottle, 5/26/16. Clear amber, large foamy tan head, good retention. Aroma of earthy, grassy hops, a bit of latex. The taste is earthy, piney, peppery hops, caramel malt. Medium bodied, mild lingering bitterness. A little weird, but solid.

Sampled from the tap at Red Cow North Loop. Pours a clear light gold with a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges and laces. Aroma has hay and grass up front with some pine bitterness underlying. Flavor has lots of grass, hay and straw notes with a slight pine bitterness backing.
