24oz can at the DC Spring RB Tasting. Poured a pale, fizzy, sad yellow color with a medium sized, fluffy white head. Aroma was sweet syrup. Not much else going on here, sweet, with a pinch of sadness.

I'd rather eat the paper bag than drink more of this. Garbage finish. Garbage golden pour. Drain pour thanks to martial arts academy moving into an old sketchy corner store.

24 ounce can into lager glass, best before 9/10/2018. Pours crystal clear deep golden amber color with a 1 finger dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a light amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of cracker, corn, white bread dough, toasted biscuit, light honey/nutty, and minimal herbal/grassy earthiness. A bit of fruity corn aromas, but not too overwhelming. Okay aromas with pale malt/corn and minimal earthy hop notes; with solid strength. Taste of cracker, white bread dough, toasted biscuit, light honey/nutty/corn, and minimal herbal/grassy hop earthiness. Very minimal herbal/grassy bitterness and alcohol spice on the finish. Lingering notes of cracker, white bread dough, toasted biscuit, light honey/nutty/corn, and minimal herbal/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Nice robustness of pale malt/corn and minimal earthy hop notes; with a solid bitter/spiciness balance, and zero cloying sweetness after the finish. Perfectly clean on lager flavors, with minimal fruity notes present. Slightly increasing dryness from lingering bitterness and spicy alcohol. Medium carbonation and medium-full body; with a very smooth, creamy/bready, and slightly sticky mouthfeel that is nice. No alcohol roughness. Lightly increasing warmth of 8% after the finish. Overall this is a pretty good malt liquor. All around good robustness of malt/corn and minimal earthy hop flavors; very smooth and easy to drink for the ABV; with the minimally bitter/drying finish. This definitely improved as it warmed in the glass. Very clean and rich barley/grain flavors, with mild earthy hop balance. Not overdone on the corn adjuncts at all. A nicely enjoyable offering. Tasty and well made for the style.

Massive can at C&R Pre-GBBF Tasting 2017. It pours clear yellow with a medium white head. The aroma is soft, sweet, white bready, lagery malts, stewed veg, cheap perfume, vanish and some raw alcohol. The taste is sweet, tangy, cheap white bread, grainy, cornbread, sugar syrup and raw alcohol. Medium body and fine carbonation. I feel like I am making it sound shitter than it actually is. Reasonable for the style.

The great pre GBBF bottleshare at ChrisO’s. Can. Light haze on this gold beer, good pale cream colour head. Palate is smooth and semi dry, reasonable fine carbonation. Soft smooth dry malts, quite sweet. A little spice. Light dry finish. Inoffensive. No really!

Bottle shared at Chriso’s and Ruth pre GBBF shindig, August 5, 2017. Golden. Clean corn nose. Tastes actually not entirely terrible. Malty, corn and excessive booze comes out only in the finish. Maybe even drinkable.
