375mL bottle drunk 12/18/23. Deep golden-brass-maize. Small, off-white head slowly to spotty cover. Nose is fruity, round, quite aromatic with chalky red wine being the only barrel element I can really identify. Mineral, honey and graham cracker-like maltiness with mild brett, almost no lactic and moderate adjunct. Clean, no alcohol noted. Soft, round, very malty. Could definitely use at least six more months for the malt to dry out and things to congeal, but it's still reasonably attenuated and not overdone on the adjuncts, given that their point was to make an old fashioned-style beer. Low brett, low yeast in general with mostly malt, fruity adjunct and lingering orange bitterness.
