TRAUM is a German Dark Lager, brewed with a base of Barke pils, Munich malt, and a special blend of roasted malts. Double decocted, fermented cold, spunded and lagered till ready. Pouring jet black, light bodied and smooth, this beer has notes of baker’s chocolate, fresh baked bread on the nose with tasting notes of molasses cookies, toast and a hint of smoke. A perfect lager to enjoy as fall comes to a close.

Side pour, Brighton, 12/17/24. Clear garnet, dark mahogany. Big ol greige head. Great retention. Moderate chocolate, light mineral and good base malt. Most importantly, clean. Not over/under hopped. Pretty good aroma for its size. Juicy chocolate and plum-raisin. Milky roast with big chocolate and a dry, mineral-strong finish. Wow, Widowmakers draughts are way better than their cans, though for unexpected reasons. Coming from Notch, the fact that this lager is great, is even more impressive.
