Canned 11/8/24, drunk 12/15/24. Heavily hazy, bronze-maize. Medium-sized, white head. Mellow, well-hopped nose with crusty, chewy wheat and no punch or resin. Some pine and pineapple with no twang. Quite dry, but not undermalted. Just highly attenuated and wheat-heavy. In the mouth it's incredibly soft, supple, succulent with honey, biscuit, chewy wheat and juicy, pine-and-spruce-laced hops. Like a lighter Galaxy IPA but without the heavy chalky spruce. As usual, it pays to let your IPAs sit for a month or two.

Pours hazy gold into a willi. Bright white head with medium retention recedes to skim surface leaving trailing sheets. Mango and passion fruit aromas. Thick with sweet mango, passion fruit, guava and papaya upfront turning to tongue-stripping, very bitter apple (I disagree with the description that it is restrained) in dry, lasting finish. I love the can...Pierce is my favorite winter hike...
