Sequoia, a Red IPA inspired by the towering trees out west.

It pours a beautiful red hue with a white foam head. It is aggressively hopped with a unique blend of Columbus, Chinook, Nelson, and Simcoe hops. This beer rouses the senses with a rush of orange citrus, sparkling grapefruit, and piney resin.

Following behind these snappy aromas are layers of rich caramel and toffee undertones. It is as unmistakably balanced, complex, and as refreshing as the rarified air found off the beaten path.

We hope you enjoy it as much as we do!

Can at home shared with Laura. Murky amber color, medium sized white to off-white head. Aroma and flavor are malts, hops, bitter hops, piney. Medium body and carbonation. Solid for sure.

pours a dark amber with a big smooth amber or very light brown head. Looks fantastic. Vienna colored beer with an ipa kind of head.
initially nutty malty and herbs hoppy aroma, also a bit of faint cheese which is confusing.
Flavor is like a good very hoppy brown ale, nutty malty, sweet malty but not tilted over to overly caramelly, relatively tasteless but seriously herbal hoppy bitter balance, sort of like a more hop-herbal version of the bitterness you'd find in a german vienna. good balance, lots of small nuances to dive into, quenching, reasonably crisp. Been years since i've had a better brown (yea' red ipa - but it's very close to many of the more hoppy brown ale's i've had) ale than this one.

Charlton draught, 11/11/24. Clear auburn. Well-retained, off-white head. Long mint on the finish of an enjoyably resinous, sourdough-accented, fir tip nose. No sweetness, no punch, no alcohol. Menthol and light toffee with a medium body and strong but not-overdone bitterness. Fruity, pretty well-rounded without obnoxious red IPA notes of yore. But still maybe a bit too minty for my liking.

Pours a lightly hazy, leather brown, with mid-sized, tan head. Aroma is citrus and pine. Flavor is citrus and pine, with a moderate hoppy bitterness to the finish. Mouthfeel is crisp and clean.
