On tap at Augurs Well, pours a deep dark red with a small beige head. Aroma has oak, wild bugs, and dry grape juice. Flavour is full of dry oak, wild bugginess, and gentle grape skins. Dry, musty, and lightly vinous. A bit muffled but pretty well-constructed. Solid.

Tip Tap draught, 11/8/24. Clear, strawberry-rhubarb. Small, off-white, pink-flecked head. Nose is very soft mineral and plaster. Great yeast-forward nose without being dominated by barrel or grape. Clean, no big sugar or hard lactic/malic acid. Similar flavor with a bit more acidity on the finish but never problematic. Low oak, with excellent malt depth. Grapes are mild, never acidic or too drying. Mild juiciness with easygoing fruit. Lingering malt and house culture.
