Keep Standing, a Lager brewed in collaboration with the Keep standing crew, whose new ski film, Stand Corrected, premiers at the brewery this Saturday at 8pm.

This new lager was brewed with Czech Saaz and Citra hops, providing it with a hint of lemon on the palate alongside bright and herbal characteristics. 4.20% abv and perfect for the upcoming ski season. Grab cans tomorrow at noon and at the premier this weekend.

This Saturday’s film screening will also feature DJ sets from @bencallmeback, an additional short film from @shanemcfalls called Space Junk, and a ski raffle/giveaway. It’s free to attend.

Reviewed from notes.
Can to lager glass.
Appearance: pale yellow semi-cloudy color with a three finger white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave a light lace
Aroma: some lemony hops, subtle white grapey-like tones with a touch of hop spice then a light clean cracker maltiness
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas to a fine crisp cracker malty sweet to lemony hoppy quality; finishes crisp, lemony and a touch of dryness
Texture: light bodied, sessionable, good smoothness - just flows real nice over the tongue
Overall: nicely done American lager worth coming back to and good chance of having with some grill-side partakings.

Canned 9/11/24, drunk 10/31/24. Clear, pale, white-golden. Large, frothy, white head, good retention. White grape, fresh herb, biscuit and honey provide a clean, aromatic, inviting nose. Some moderate mineral and sweaty yeast-like notes on the finish are quite charming. Reasonably malty, though about what you'd expect for its small stature. Lots of cracker, maybe a touch too much, is my only complaint. Otherwise, lovely herbs, honey and beautiful yeast character without too much citrus from the Citra. Clean and flavorful.
