Cask at the brewery 10/19/24. Dark, unclear. Small, tan head, quickly to ring. Heavy chocolate seems to cover up everything here, though it smells good itself. Doesn't burden the flavor, though, adding a chocolatey-syrupy heft that the base beer doesn't have. Bourbon still comes through nicely. Not much coffee, just a bit of fruity roast on the finish. Still prefer the base, but this is a competently done adjuncted version.
