16 oz. can. Pours a clear, bubbly, orange color, with a fleeting head. The aroma is lemon peel, horse blanket, blood orange, and leather. Dry and musty, with a mellow, funky bitterness. Medium body, sticky, dusty, and quite astringent. Strange and interesting.

Canned 6/5/24, drunk 10/1/24. Clear, pinkish-cranberry. Large, pinkish-cranberry head fades steadily to ring. Round coffee notes are mild, alongside earthy, lightly juicy beats and a mild, somewhat hard-to-pin-down culture that is neither very tart nor very expressive. Just a lot of earthiness, all around, I guess. But competent and aromatic. In the mouth it's mildly tart, very earthy with lots of gentle beet softness and a mildly savory, rather dry coffee character leading to moderate coffee and mixed culture acidity on the finish. Malts are fairly supportive, though I think could be a bit deeper to provide even better support to all of these dry, earthy, bitter, acidic components. Very ambitious, interesting and unique, as always, though, from JK.
