Biermanufaktur is a tribute to the beautiful brewing traditions that give rise to our modern beer styles. Beers done in our own style, with reverence. This batch is a simple malt bill, with sugar, fermented with mixed culture and aged 8 months in a sherry pipe.

Aroma: some herbs and farmhouse notes.
Taste: along the same lines, feels like gin barrel aged,very lemony.

Poured from 500mL bottle (bottled June 2023; thanks Derek & JF). Hazy gold with small white head. Soft mixed culture character, feint lemon character, very nice.

Bottled June 2023, drunk 9/14/24. Rusty-coppery-bronze. Very carbonated, large, white head. Lactic culture is front and center with some noble hop notes and maybe a bit of spicy phenols from Sacch. Clean, straightforward, a bit oaky, but no actual sherry I can find. In the mouth there's a bit of sherry, actually. Excellent malt depth, dryness, moderate saison character, very farmhousey (strong mixed culture). Love the deep, soft, rich malts. Mellow and flavorful.
