Brewed in collaboration with the Kingsbury Grist Mill this is our interpretation of the type of beer that would have been locally brewed in the early 1700s.

Draft at the brewery with some pizza on way back from home from train journey. Amber pour fairly clear and foamy Brighton that dissapates. Nose is caramel and minerally. Tastes of caramel, dark bread, minerals, hint for dried fruits. Crisp and lighter palate

Brewery draught, 9/8/24. Muted, rusty amber. Small, off-white head. Bit hazy... Fruity, fresh yeast and mineral with caramel-laced biscuit and a bit of honey and toast. Low hop. Clean. Malty and with a bit of hop spice, fruity acidity from yeast and gentle caramel. Not over-toasted, over-specialty malted. Lots of comforting base malt. Chewy toffee, red fruits and yeast minerality linger.
