Canned 3/25/24, drunk 8/26/24. Very pale with a light peach tint to it. Large, white head, moderate retention. A hint of metallic character and maybe light wort with a bit of hop, but it's pretty vague/minimal. This is an old can (though it was from the fridge). As it warms and breathes, there's a bit of biscuity malt and it seems to clean up all-around. That hard edge that these Athletic beers have is here in its prime. Cidery on the finish. Light, thin. Very vague hops, perhaps a bit of very light fruitiness. But it's fairly innocuous overall, I suppose. But it's also very far from a fresh can of Free Wave.
