Our latest IPA prominently featuring Elani and Azacca as the dry hops. This perfectly pleasant new beer pours brilliant gold and moderately hazy. The aroma features grapefruit, sweet fruit, and accompanied by mild pine resin. The flavor follows the path of some classic favorites: dank resin, grapefruit, lemongrass, with a very well balanced and delightful amount of bitterness.

Can pour from Julio's Liquors (on the discount shelf, likely some age to it). Cloudy orange-yellow with tons of sparkle, large head (4 fingers!--kind of annoying) with excellent retention and tons of splotchy lacing. Aroma is strong lemon Starburst, milder grapefruit, light pine and honey malts. Taste is more pine- and malt-forward, later floral/fruit and bread. Smooth texture, creamy foam, soft carbonation, medium body, crisp finish with mild lingering bitterness. Haven't had much, if any, Elani so it is probably this that makes this a smidge different. Enjoyable.

Undated, fresh can, drunk 8/11/24. Weird, muted, greyish-beige-brass. Small, off-white head, rocky, receding slowly to spotty/clumpy cover. Piney Azacca but without resin and backed by rich, honey and white bread-like malts. A bit yeasty, but its fresh and fruity, no issues there. In the mouth it's very malty, very fruity with a light piney edge and ample bitterness. The malts a bit strange, very honey-like but also with a buttered bread flavor. Maybe a hint of oxidation from a canning line issue? Not sure, but it's still well-done and enjoyably balanced and flavorful.
