Collaborative Munich-style Export Pale Lager. Dry, crisp, and clean, Exquisite Gold is a refreshing mid-strength lager that was produced using a technical mash process called kettle mashing used to create highly fermentable wort. Produced with our friends from Hercules Brewing in Mexico, Exquisite Gold is hopped with German Saphir and Hallertau Tradition hop varietals.

On tap at Green Bench, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out light grassiness and crisp biscuity malt, but I’m straining to get much. Flavour is crisp, with a nice gently bitter, crisp, grassy hop character, and a crisp biscuity malt. Great hop expression and well-constructed. Very nicely done helles.

Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours a clear straw yellow with a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has light sweet grains and bread with a bit of straw coming through. Flavor is similar with a combination of sweet grains and straw with a hint of sweet bread underlying.

Canned 5/21/24, drunk 6/22/24. Clear golden. Small, white head. Nose is a bit timid but nicely malty. Honey and cookie. Low hop. Clean. Lightly crisp. Love the malt, and the attenuation. Mineral and crispness a bit low but it's clean.
