Bottle from De Bierhal in Zammel, 37.5 cl, no cork. Not much information about this unexpected find on the label or elsewhere. Small batch, I presume? Color: Slightly hazy golden to orange amber, no head. Aroma: Fruity, pear, wood, funky hints. Taste: Over moderate tart, fruity lemon and subtle pear. Some Brett funk. Oak wood, tannins. Signs of old hop at the finish. Less pear than expected from the aroma, but certainly recognizable. Dry finish. Medium body, almost none carbonation. Nice one.
