Made in the style of the London Porters of the 19th century with plenty of brown malt adding complexity of flavour. Chocolate and coffee flavours come through together with a robust bitterness from English hops and Cranberries added to give it a fruity twist.

[ As Longdog Cranberry Lamplight Porter ].Clear dark red brown colour with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, chocolate, cranberry. Flavor is moderate sweet with a long duration, craneberry, dark malt, roasted, chocolate, sweet malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20160804] 7-3-7-3-14

Cask at EBF 24, 04/08/16. Light black with a decent tan cap formed of bubbles. Nose is light berry fruits, charr, spice, chocolate. Taste comprises black forest gateaux, cranberry, roast malt, cocoa powder, light spice. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Decent chocolatey porter.

Cask @ 24th Egham Beer Festival. Pours a black color with a small tan head. Has a roasted malty chocolate and caramel flavor. Has a roasted malty chocolate and caramel flavor with hints of cranberry flavor. Has a roasted malty chocolate and caramel fiish with weak hints of cranberry.

Cask at the 24th Egham Beer Festival. A darkest mahogany colour with a chestnut gleam and a tight beige head; sweet fruity chocolate aroma; and a soft fruity taste with a chocolate malt body; and sweet chocolate finish with a touch of cranberry sourness.
