(Draught at Vagabund Brauerei, Berlin, 15 July 2015) Reddish amber colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, fruity nose with notes of black-currant, raisins, nutmeg and crisp-bread. Malty, fruity taste with crisp-bread, orange peel, Christmas spices, nutmeg, dried apricots and a balanced spicy bitterness. More than medium body, with balanced sweetness. Tasty and quite interesting, but more rye than saison. Nice one.

Tap at brewpub, Berlin. Dark nut brown, amber color, steady off-white head. Aroma has saison yeast, veggies and malts. Medium-bodied. Flavor is a bit heavy: berryish, hints of vegetables. Not so much saisonic, although aftertaste has some saison pepperness.
