Bottle 0.33l from local market, Helsinki. BBE 11/15. Enjoyed straight from the bottle. Aromas and flavours: Grain, dry hay and malts. Better than average Finnish bulk lager but nothing else.

Bottle 330ml (K-Supermarket Kamppi)
Melrose was a kind of popular band among the music aficionados when I was young but I was never a big fan of their music. Deep golden color, mostly vanishing white head. Grainy, grassy aroma. Light-bodied, crisp carbonation. Grainy maltyness, low bitterness, even tiny hints of apple. Watery. This one does not have an attitude of Melrose’s music.

33 cl bottle @ home, BBE 11/2015
Very quickly disappearing head. Aroma is odd and musty with berries, apricot and bready malt. Flavour has apricot, some metal tones, grainy malt and mild bready tones. Also some gooseberry bush -like hops. Milky finish. Weird but ok. At the middle of the glass I even started enjoying this. Dutch pale ale meets lager.
