Clear dark amber, lasting offwhite head. Malt, toffee, caramel and spocy hops in the aroma, light notes of some metallic hops too but not bad. Sweet malty flavour, again a little toffee and mild spicy hop bitterness. Quite decent, long malty sweet and hoppy bitter finish.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a cloudy, nutty brown with a small, lacing, off-white head. Nutty, toffeeish aroma, burnt sugars. Rich, sweet, massive maltiness with notes as above. Never sticky or cloying though with just enough hops for balance. An almost perfect example of the style. 311024

Bottled. A dark amber beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of caramel, malt, and a bit of alcohol. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, bread, and alcohol, leading to a dry finish.

bottle. sweet caramelly sweet nutty malty aroma. flavor is good caramel, sweet nuts, sweet malts. Some bitterness to balance that is not particularly US hoppy, not that it should be that, but more bitter herbal european hoppy. some of the flavor reminds me of strong east european lagers of 15 years ago, some reminds me more of danish christmas beer, probably the herbal notes and the sweetness. A bit brutal and macro'ish, but quite tasty if you like very sweet beer.
