Bottle from HavnensVinOgTobak. Pours dark coffee brown with large offwhite head. Aroma is roasted malt, coffee, hazelnuts, syrup, biscuits, prunes and sweet apples. Taste is medium to very sweet, light bitter and faint salty. Body is creamy with light carbonation. Finish is long and mostly sweet with notes of roasted malt, coffee, hazelnuts, biscuits, syrup, brown sugar, sweet apples, prunes and hints of sweet liquorice. Very intense and nice brown ale that could have fooled me for a stout.
