12 oz. can. Pitch black pour with a thick dark beige head and great retention. Spotty lacing. Pure cocoa aroma. Taste is more roasted than the nose, slightly burnt with a black licorice finish. Not bitter and limited coffee flavor. Thick and creamy mouthfeel.

Small can (thx, Max and Farees) at Erik's. Pours a dark brown with a weak beige head. Aroma is a bit sweet with lots of coffee. Taste is very sweet and oily. Interesting.

Tasting at Black Metal West, can
Black colour. Strong coffee aroma. Nice sweet body, coffee notes, a bit nutty the final.
Nice just because of the sweetness.

Draft @ the brewery. Nitro. Pours dark brown with creamy tan head. Aromas of roasted malt and chocolate. Slightly sweet chocolate and lactose flavors with some roasted malt. Medium body with average carbonation and a creamy mouthfeel.

Tap at taproom. As "Deathroll Nitro" but 6%. Opaque black color, firm creamy brownish head, lace. Light chocolate and sweetish notes in the nose. Medium-bodied. Smooth palate (nitro!), quite sweet. Milk sugar, some dark malts, not too much toastyness. A bit too sweet for my liking.
