On tap at Skaal, CPH. Black with a lasting tan head. Roasted aroma with chocolate and dried fruit, along with a touch of dessert wine. Sweetish roasted flavour with oak notes and a hard roasted bitterness in the finish.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours an opaque black with a solid, brown head. Sweet and dusty roastiness with a vanilla touch. Rich, roasty body, quite some licorice and roast with perhaps a very faint note of the port wine. There's some dark, dried fruits in there suggesting some Belgian Stout character. But the finish is full blown roastiness. But a good stab at a heavy Xmas Stout, absolutely. 130223
